There will be a class TONIGHT, May 7th in Orem (5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.) for those of you who are interested. It is by Jim Phillips. For those of you who don't know Jim Phillips, he is an expert in the field of heat, etc for emergency situations.

GRAIN AND BEAN GRINDING PARTY THIS SATURDAY:
Don't forget that this Saturday, you can come to my home and bring your grains or beans or popcorn and we will grind away from you. You will want to make sure to keep it in the refrigerator or freezer until you use it. Also, we will talk about cooking with our grains and a bit about beginning sprouting.
PASTA AND SPICES:
Also at Parley's Hardware (in the parking lot) this Saturday (11 a.m. - 7 p.m.), there will be pasta and spices (sold in bulk form) available for purchase. The pasta will be 75 cents/pound and the prices for the spices varies, but are very good. This would be an excellent time to stock up.
HOME DEPOT YARD & GARDEN MAINTENANCE FREEBIE CLASS
Thursday, May 14th 7 -8:30 p.m. Provo Store
Home Depot provides this class to help us and will gear the class to whomever is there, so if you have questions on vegetable gardening, come and ask -- if you have questions on paving stones, come and they will show you how, or if you have any questions, come and ASK! They will have treats, too (yummy).
BLOG OF THE DAY....
Here is another website that I particularly like. It isn't a "food storage" website -- instead, it is a website where this woman tries different recipes and then posts how they turn out. I don't know about you, but I am always looking for recipes for dinner. Make sure to scroll down through her blog because she has a lot of really good recipes. I have tried several of them and they were great! Here is her address: http://www.tasteandtellblog.com/
Make sure to go out and enjoy your spring day! SuWheat
