I promised that I would post here some of my very favorite food storage/preparedness websites -- try some of these:
http://letusprepare.blogspot.com/

http://everydayfoodstorage.net/

http://foodstoragemadeeasy.net/

http://preparednessmatters.blogspot.com/

http://preparednessnibblesandbits.blogspot.com/

http://www.simplylivingsmart.com/sls-first-steps.html

From each of these, you can navigate to other websites and the possibilities are endless! I have learned so much from these websites -- I will post more in a week or two -- believe me, it will take you that long to go through all the links that these few provide. LEARN FROM OTHERS -- it is so much easier than learning on your own -- and so much more fun!

CLASS THIS SATURDAY, MAY 9th at 10 a.m.!

For those of you who are interested, I will be holding a "grain and bean grinding party" at my home at 10 a.m. this Saturday, May 9th! I know that sounds silly, but not everyone has a grinder and I want you to start using your grains and beans, so come by, grind away (I'll help you and you will be hooked and want a grinder of your very own) and we will also talk about using your grains and beans (including sharing some recipes) and talk about sprouting as well. If you are interested in coming, if you could please drop me an e-mail at susan_wheatley@comcast.net or post a coment on this blog that would be helpful to know how many are planning on coming. THANKS!

I'm happy that the weather is starting to look like spring -- FINALLY! Get out and enjoy it -- take a bike ride, a walk, garden -- get some Vitamin D outside!

Take care -- SuWheat (Susan)
